The AHIP exam tests your knowledge of Medicare, compliance rules, and best practices for enrolling beneficiaries. It's open-book and can be taken at your own pace — take your time, read carefully, and use the resources available to you.

The AHIP exam is open-book. You're encouraged to look up and confirm your answers using trusted resources before submitting — this is smart test-taking, not cheating.

If you're struggling with any part of the exam, have questions about specific content, or are unsure whether you're ready to submit — reach out in writing before taking action. This matters most on your second or third attempt.

• Message your manager in writing with your specific question or concern
• Include which section or question you're stuck on
• Do not submit a retake without seeking guidance first if you're unsure
• Your manager can point you to the right study materials or clarify a concept

Once you pass, you'll receive a certificate of completion. This needs to be on file before your carrier appointments can be fully activated and before you can begin taking live-transfer calls.

• Download your AHIP certificate of completion immediately after passing
• Send a copy to your manager in writing so it can be submitted to carriers
• Your manager will confirm when your appointments are active
• Do not begin taking calls until you receive written confirmation you're activated
